Coolbaugh Memorial Tournament Sponsorships
The sudden and unexpected death of Mike Coolbaugh is a tragic story that has affected many across the nation. We remember Mike as an intelligent, funny, and talented person who cared about his friends and loved his family. In order to honor his memory and amazing life, we have organized a golf tournament to raise money for his wife Mandy and their young children. All proceeds from this tournament will be directly deposited into the Mike Coolbaugh Memorial Fund at Frost Bank in San Antonio. The tournament will take place Saturday, November 8th at Tapatio Springs Golf Resort in Boerne, Texas. The registration form is attached and can be mailed in or filled out online at coolbaughmemorial.com. If you would like to donate money to this tournament, the levels of sponsorship are listed below.
Major League Sponsorship $5,000
Sign with your company name & logo (or family name) on two holes.
Opportunity to include literature/coupons in the tee prize bag.
A location on the course for up to two of your representatives to promote your company.
Golf and dinner for eight people.
Eight extra tickets for the dinner & auction for non-golfers.
Recognition of sponsorship in all media and public relations regarding the tournament.
Triple A Sponsorship $3000
Sign with your company name & logo (or family name) on one hole.
Opportunity to include literature/coupons in the tee prize bag.
Golf and dinner for 4 people.
Recognition of sponsorship in all media and public relations regarding the tournament.
Four extra tickets for the dinner & auction for non-golfers.
Double A Sponsorship $2000
Sign with your company name & logo (or family name) on hole of your choice.
Golf and dinner for 4 people.
Single A Sponsorship $1000
Sign with your company name & logo (or family name) on hole of your choice.
Golf and dinner for 2 people.
Refreshment Sponsor $500
Promote your company by serving refreshments on the course to each of the 144 players. Your company will be placed at a station on the course for two of your representatives to serve refreshments to each player as they pass through. Refreshments will be provided by tournament. Four sponsorships available.
Hole-in-One Sponsor $500
A highly visible sponsorship. Minimum $10,000 cash or prize value such as a vehicle, boat or jewelry. You are encouraged to decorate the hole to promote your company, as long as it does not interfere with the game. The sponsor is required to provide one or two representatives to staff the hole to verify a “hole-in-one.” The sponsor is also required to provide hole-in-one insurance. Two sponsorships available.
Closest-to-the-Pin Sponsor $500
As the Closest-to-the-pin sponsor, your donation contributes to a prize that is selected and provided by tournament organizers. You will receive on-course signage at your designated hole and recognition at the awards ceremony. Two sponsorships needed to provide both Men’s and Women’s closest to the pin prizes.
Longest Drive Sponsor $500
Your donation will provide a prize chosen by tournament organizers for both men’s and women’s longest drive on a designated hole. You will be able to post signage at your designated hole and will receive recognition at the awards ceremony. Two sponsorships needed to provide both Men’s and Women’s Long Drive prizes.
Tee Prize (Goody Bag) Sponsor $400
This sponsorship will be something that every golfer goes home with. Your donation will help fund the tee prize that all 144 golfers receive and is a great opportunity for advertising. The contents of the bag will be chosen by tournament organizers, but your company will have sole advertising on the outside of the bag and will also be able to place literature or company information inside the prize bag.
Driving Range Sponsorship $250
This sponsor will receive sole use of the driving range to promote their company with signage. If personal donation, the family name will be printed on signs at both ends of the driving range.
Cart Sponsorship $250
The cart sponsorship is another highly visible sponsorship. Your company name and logo will be posted on every cart used for the tournament.
Tee Box Sponsorship $250
As a tee box sponsor, you will be recognized for your contribution to the tournament with a sign showing your company name and logo at the beginning of the hole.
Friends of Mike Coolbaugh Sponsorship $100 +
Friends of Mike Coolbaugh Sign will be posted at the entrance to the golf course with your name listed as a donor. Donations may be made by companies, families or individuals and are all greatly appreciated.
